Installations: All jobs require a 50% deposit due at the time of scheduling; an additional 25% when floor is installed and the balance when the floor is completed.  If you elect to postpone the final for any reason, you may hold out 5% percent due for when the final finish is applied.

All prefinished installs require a 75% deposit due at the time of scheduling.
Special orders require 75% deposit in advance due to the non-refundable returned products.

Refinishes: All jobs require a 50% deposit, due at the time of scheduling, with the exception of special orders.  Balance due when the floor is finaled.  If you elect to postpone the final for any reason, you may hold out 5% percent due for when the final finish is applied.

Recoating:  All jobs require a 50% deposit, due at the time of scheduling.  Balance due when the floor is finaled.

Note that scheduling work constitutes agreement of payment terms for services as set forth in this document.

We do recoating of floors that have been previously Swedish finished for a fraction of the cost and mess of having them re-sanded. This extends the life of the wood floor and gives it a like-new shine. It will soften scuff marks from wear, but will not correct scratches into the wood, dents or discoloration due to water contact. It works wonders for a floor if it has maintained properly. Proper maintenance means not having been waxed, cleaned with any soaps, or had foreign material on it, such as: dusting aids, hairspray painting products or oils.

This contractor, Christian Brothers Flooring Service, is registered with the State of Washington, Registration Number CHRISBF143PF, as a general/specialty contractor and has posted with the state, a bond or cash deposit of $12,000.00 for the purpose of satisfying claims against the contractor for negligent or improper work or breach of contract in the conduct of the contracts business. The expiration date of this contractors registration is March 25, 2008. This bond or cash deposit may not be sufficient to cover a claim which might arise from the work done under your contract. If any supplier of Materials used in your construction project or any employee of the contract or subcontractor is not paid by the contractor or subcontractor on your job, your property may be liened to force payment. If you wish additional protection, you may request the contract to provide you with original "lien release" documents from each supplier or subcontractor on your project. The contractor is required to provide you with further information about "lien release" documents if requested.
